DSType

Good typography is one of the most important elements while building a good design. Whether it be digital or printed.

For the 2013 version of DSType we made it responsive and kept only what was really important: the typography and lots of flexibility while managing the website's content.

Built on a custom Rails platform, both the CMS and e-commerce modules are totally adapted for the client's needs and has since then revealed to be an important tool to drive traffic and increase revenue.

YouCook

We at TPWD love cooking (and eating!). So it was a real pleasure (and sometimes enjoyable torture) to work on something related with such fine delicatessens. There are no chefs and this is no ordinary recipe website. Everything is easy to prepare, tempting to look at and delicious to taste!

Several applications have been introduced to the website but the main component still remains the very well crafted and great looking recipe videos. Need a suggestion for tomorows's lunch?

A Floresta Mágica

"The Magic Forest" is the name of this really cool looking kindergarten. And you can tell when you enter their premises that this is a special place.

We decided we had to create something special for their web presence since this is not the ordinary kindergarten.

There are lots of cool little animations from the minute you open the website and there's a responsive web app for the parents as well.

SWITCH Conference

SWITCH 2012 was the definite edition of the innovation spreader conference that is the brainchild of Ricardo Sousa.

When Ricardo approached us for the new version of the website for 2012 we set out a few goals: a) it needed to be done in Wordpress and b) it had to be done really fast. All of that without loosing an innovative and techy feel.

We set out to create a strong first page that had a few catchy parts and the banner with the speakers had a nice final touch when we introduced a canvas element that generated the connected dots, a graphical element that was related to the conference theme.

MyMoneyPark

Our layouts are usually very plain and simple. But every now and again comes a project challenge that requires a more detailed interface.

That was the case with MyMoneyPark. A Swiss financial advisor company that asked TPWD for a refresh on their new website. This was our proposition.

Net Car Exchange

Buying a new car can sometimes be a true hassle. NetCar Exchange aims to help you through the process of choice and negotiation while remaining totally free.

We first set out to help the client find the true essence of the project and make it as simple as possible. Lots of sketching and planning time was put into it until we were sure we had it right.

We designed dozens of pages, hand coded the app throughout months of hard work and even assisted with the launch of the app and the creation of the style and content for social profiles.

Zoo Santo Inácio

Designing for children is always a great challenge. Luckily we once again partnered up with xs design to create a website for a nice little zoo close to Porto.

One of their main preocupations was that all the interface was appealing to kids and yet usable by their parents or teachers.

One of the toughest issues with this project was to make it degrade gracefully down to IE 7 while still retaining most of it's graphic traces all over the interface. Still there are some hidden easter eggs only meant for CSS3 capable browsers.
